THE GREEN BOOTS ON EVEREST

On the slopes of Mount Everest, a grim sight has held the imagination of climbers for decades. Referred to as "Green Boots," this spectacle is {aunseen reminder of the mountain's deadliness. Discovered in 1998 by a team of climbers, Green Boots has become a legend on Everest. The boots are believed to be to a climber who died in the early season.
